For the 80th anniversary of the first controlled nuclear chain reaction, carried out under the guidance of Enrico Fermi (2 December 1942), on 15 December 2022 the musical reading “Federico Buffa racconta: la pila di Fermi”, took place at the Politecnico di Milano, text written by Lorenzo Paletti, with the participation of Maestro Nadio Marenco on the accordion. The protagonist of the event and narrative voice was Federico Buffa, journalist, sports commentator, writer and narrator of great fame. 300 students of the Politecnico di Milano attended this performance, in a crowded classroom.
